BPS7-12 is a B.B. Battery BPS series 12 V 7 Ah valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) battery that uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination. It is maintenance free and needs no water addition, contains no free acid and is leak-proof, has a low self-discharge rate, can be installed in any orientation (inverted position not allowed), and is fitted with an explosion-proof filter. Float service life is up to 10 years. Nominal capacity is 7 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 6.65 Ah at the 10-hour rate and 5.95 Ah at the 5-hour rate; the weight is 2.54 kg, the standard terminal type is T2 and the optional terminal type is T1.
