The battery cover is firmly connected to the case, and the terminal area is sealed to effectively prevent leakage. Depending on different connection requirements, users can choose the standard B1 terminal (with M5 bolts and nuts) or optional T2 and I1 terminal types. The initial installation torques are 2.5Nm±5% for B1 terminals and 4.0Nm±5% for I1 terminals, ensuring secure and reliable connections.
Technically, the BPS17-12 adopts advanced Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, achieving efficient gas recombination, making the battery completely maintenance-free throughout its entire service life without the need for water addition. Meanwhile, it features a free-acid-free design, ensuring safety and no leakage. Its self-discharge rate is extremely low, with a monthly capacity loss of less than 3%, extending the usable time when idle.
A significant installation advantage is that the battery can be placed horizontally or vertically (inverted use is prohibited), providing great flexibility for the internal space layout of equipment.
