The B.B. Battery BPS65-12 is a 12 V valve-regulated lead-acid battery from the BPS series. Its nominal capacity is 65 Ah at the 20 hour rate and 61.75 Ah at the 10 hour rate, and 55.25 Ah at the 5 hour rate. It uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination, which supports its maintenance free (no water addition required) operation, and it has a no free acid (leak-proof battery) design. It also has a low self-discharge rate, can be used in any orientation (inverted position not allowed), and comes with an explosion-proof filter fitted plus up to 10 years of float service life. The standard terminal type is B5, the optional terminal types are I2, and the weight is 22.4 kg.
