The BPS100-12 is a 12 V valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery from the B.B. Battery BPS series. Its nominal capacity is 100 Ah at the 20 hour rate and 95 Ah at the 10 hour rate, and 85 Ah at the 5 hour rate. It uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination, which supports its maintenance free (no water addition required) operation, and it has a no free acid (leak-proof battery) design. It also has a low self-discharge rate and can be used in any orientation (inverted position not allowed). An explosion-proof filter fitted adds protection, and the battery offers up to 10 years of float service life. It supports vertical and horizontal installation. The standard terminal type is B3, the optional terminal types are I2, and the weight is 32.7 kg.
