Its nominal capacity is 7 Ah at the 20 hour rate and it weighs 2.35 kg, with T2 as the standard terminal type and T1 available as an optional terminal type. The battery uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination and is maintenance free (no water addition required) with no free acid (leak-proof battery). It has a low self-discharge rate, which helps it retain charge during storage, and it can be used in any orientation (inverted position not allowed). An explosion-proof filter fitted and a flame arrestor fitted for safety complete the safety provisions of the design. Typical applications include uninterruptible power supply, security systems, emergency lighting and video surveillance systems, access control systems, medical equipment, communication facilities, alternative energy, power supply networks and the energy industry, street lighting and traffic signals and data processing centers. |
