B.B. Battery BPS200-12 is a 12V valve regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) battery from the BPS general purpose series. Its nominal capacity is 200Ah at the 20-hour rate, 190Ah at the 10-hour rate and 170Ah at the 5-hour rate, so it serves both long, slow discharge duties and loads that draw current more quickly. The battery weighs 61.5 kg and comes with a standard B9 terminal, with I3 terminals available as an option. Absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination keeps it maintenance free (no water addition required) and free of liquid electrolyte, so no free acid (leak-proof battery) is present. The self-discharge rate is low, the battery can be used in any orientation (inverted position not allowed), and explosion-proof filter fitted together with up to 10 years of float service life make it a durable standby power choice.
