B.B. Battery's BPS20-12 is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery, belonging to the BPS series product line. This series has capacities ranging from 5 to 230 Ah, meeting different energy storage needs. The battery adopts a sturdy, opaque, impact-resistant ABS plastic casing. The battery cover is firmly connected to the shell and reliably sealed, ensuring structural integrity and safety. Six holes are designed on the top for electrolyte filling during production. The dedicated pressure relief valve installed is made of non-combustible material, effectively preventing internal pressure buildup and providing excellent fire and explosion protection safety ratings, allowing users to use it with peace of mind in various installation environments.
At the technical core, BPS20-12 employs advanced Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, enabling efficient gas recombination, almost maintenance-free, requiring no water addition throughout its entire lifecycle. It has an extremely low self-discharge rate, with monthly capacity loss below 3%, making it very suitable for applications requiring long-term standby. Both positive and negative plates are coated with special pastes, ensuring stable and reliable performance. Its design is highly flexible, supporting horizontal and vertical installation, which greatly facilitates the internal space layout of equipment.
This battery has a nominal voltage of 12V. Under a 20-hour rate discharge to a final voltage of 1.75V per cell, it can provide 20.Nominal capacity of 0 Ah. Its internal resistance is approximately 11 milliohms when fully charged and can withstand a peak instantaneous discharge current of up to 300 amperes. The recommended maximum charging current is 6.0 amperes. It has a wide operating temperature range: 0 to 40 degrees Celsius for charging, and can operate in environments as low as -20 degrees Celsius and as high as 50 degrees Celsius for discharge. The storage temperature range is -20 to 40 degrees Celsius. The physical dimensions of the battery are 181 mm (length) x 76 mm (width) x 166 mm (height), with a total weight of approximately 6.35 kg.The standard configuration is Type B1 terminals, compatible with M5 bolts and nuts. Users can also choose Type T2 or I1 as optional terminals according to actual wiring requirements.
