BPS120-12 is a valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery from the B.B. Battery BPS general purpose series, with a nominal voltage of 12 V. Its nominal capacity is 120 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 114 Ah at the 10-hour rate, and 102 Ah at the 5-hour rate, and it weighs 39.5 kg. The product uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination, is maintenance free (no water addition required), and has no free acid (leak-proof battery). It offers a low self-discharge rate and can be used in any orientation (inverted position not allowed), an explosion-proof filter is fitted, and up to 10 years of float service life supports long-term standby duty. The B4 standard terminal type is fitted, with I2 available as an optional terminal type.
