HR8-12 is a valve-regulated lead-acid battery from the B.B. Battery HR series, a high-rate range with a rated voltage of 12 V. It provides a nominal capacity of 7 Ah at the 10-hour rate and a rated power of 32 W/cell at the 15-minute rate. The battery weighs 2.6 kg, uses standard terminal type T2 and offers optional terminal type T1. It applies absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination, is maintenance free (no water replenishment required) and has no free acid (leak-proof battery). It is designed to support high-rate discharge, can be installed in multiple orientations (do not install inverted), and flame arrestor fitted for safety. Power density at the 5-15 minute discharge rate is 30% higher than the BP series.
