HR22-12 belongs to the B.B. Battery HR series of VRLA batteries and is supplied as a 12 V unit. Its case is made of high-quality opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic, and the cover and case are joined into one solid body. The terminal area receives special sealing treatment to prevent leakage, while the terminal design is adjusted according to the battery model. During production, electrolyte is filled through six dedicated openings in the cover, after which a pressure relief valve made of non-flammable material is fitted to each filling port, ensuring safe release of internal pressure and raising fire and explosion safety.
Inside the battery, both the positive and negative plates use a paste coating process combined with absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination. As a result, the battery is maintenance free (no water replenishment required) throughout its life cycle and contains no free acid (leak-proof battery), removing the risk of electrolyte leakage. The battery is optimized for high-rate discharge, and power density at the 5-15 minute discharge rate is 30% higher than the BP series. Installation is flexible: it supports horizontal and vertical mounting, with an inverted position excluded.
