BP7-6 is a 6 V maintenance-free valve-regulated lead-acid battery in the B.B. Battery BP series. Its nominal capacity is 7 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 6.65 Ah at the 10-hour rate, and 5.95 Ah at the 5-hour rate. The battery weighs 1.26 kg. The standard terminal type is T1, and the optional terminal type is T2. The product is maintenance free (no topping up required) and built as a leak-proof (no free electrolyte) design, and its low self-discharge, less than 3% per month, means it retains its charge during storage. It supports vertical and horizontal installation, has a flame arrestor integrated in each cell, is fitted with carrying handles for easier installation, and includes a built-in flame arrestor for added safety.
