BP7-12RT is a B.B. Battery BP general purpose series valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery with a nominal voltage of 12 V. Its nominal capacity is 7 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 6.65 Ah at the 10-hour rate, and 5.95 Ah at the 5-hour rate. The battery weighs 2.4 kg and uses the RT standard terminal type. It is maintenance free (no topping up required) and leak-proof (no free electrolyte), and its low self-discharge, less than 3% per month, helps it hold charge in storage. The design supports vertical and horizontal installation; a flame arrestor integrated in each cell and a built-in flame arrestor for added safety reinforce protection, while carrying handles for easier installation simplify handling on site. BP7-12RT is suitable for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, security systems, emergency lighting and video surveillance systems, access control systems, medical equipment, communication facilities, alternative energy, power grids and the power industry, street lighting and traffic signals, and data centers.
