BP33-12HandleType is a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery from the B.B. Battery BP general purpose series, rated at 12 V. Its nominal capacity is 33 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 31.35 Ah at the 10-hour rate and 28.05 Ah at the 5-hour rate, and it weighs 11.25 kg. The standard terminal type is B7, and I2 is available as an optional terminal type. The battery is maintenance free (no topping up required) and leak-proof (no free electrolyte). Low self-discharge, less than 3% per month, works with support for vertical and horizontal installation to suit standby cabinets and racks. A flame arrestor integrated in each cell and a built-in flame arrestor for added safety protect the cells, and carrying handles for easier installation assist during fitting. BP33-12HandleType is suitable for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, security systems, emergency lighting and video surveillance systems, access control systems, medical equipment, communication facilities, alternative energy, power grids and the power industry, street lighting and traffic signals, and data centers.
