B.B. Battery BP26-12 is a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery with a nominal voltage of 12 V, a nominal capacity of 26 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 24.7 Ah at the 10-hour rate and 22.1 Ah at the 5-hour rate, and a weight of 9.4 kg. The standard terminal type is B1, and T2 and I1 are available as optional terminal types. The battery is maintenance free (no topping up required) and leak-proof (no free electrolyte). Low self-discharge, less than 3% per month, is paired with support for vertical and horizontal installation. Its safety design combines a flame arrestor integrated in each cell with a built-in flame arrestor for added safety, and carrying handles for easier installation assist during fitting. The maintenance-free design and sealed construction keep routine servicing work to a minimum.
