The BP10-12 is a 12V maintenance free valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery made by B.B. Battery and belonging to the BP series. Its nominal capacity is 10Ah at the 20-hour rate, 9.5Ah at the 10-hour rate and 8.5Ah at the 5-hour rate. It weighs 3.3 kg, uses a standard T2 terminal type and offers an optional T1 terminal type. The battery has an impact-resistant ABS plastic case, supports vertical and horizontal installation, is leak-proof (no free electrolyte) and needs no topping up. Its self-discharge is low, less than 3% per month, a flame arrestor is integrated in each cell, a built-in flame arrestor for added safety is provided, and carrying handles for easier installation make handling straightforward.
