The BP5-12 is part of the BP series of VRLA batteries from B.B. Battery. Every battery in this series is produced in a monobloc format and offered in 4 V, 6 V and 12 V versions, with capacities spanning 1.0 Ah to 230 Ah. The case is made of tough, opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic, the cover is firmly joined to the case, and the terminal area is sealed to prevent leakage. The BP5-12 offers standard terminal type T1 and optional terminal type T2. Six holes on the cover serve as the filling path for the electrolyte during production; once filling is complete, pressure-relief valves made of non-flammable material are installed to release internal pressure safely and guard against fire and explosion.
Internally, the positive and negative plates of the BP5-12 carry a special paste coating for stable performance. The battery can be installed horizontally or vertically. Under normal operating conditions, the BP series is expected to provide a service life of 8 to 10 years and meets the Eurobat standard for long-life batteries.
