The BP3-6-12 is a 12 V maintenance-free valve-regulated lead-acid battery from B.B. Battery with a nominal capacity of 3.6 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 3.42 Ah at the 10-hour rate and 3.06 Ah at the 5-hour rate. It weighs 1.32 kg, and the standard terminal type is T1 with optional terminal type T2. The battery is maintenance free with no topping up required and is leak-proof with no free electrolyte. Its low self-discharge of less than 3% per month helps it hold its charge, and it supports both vertical and horizontal installation. Each cell has a flame arrestor integrated into it for safety, and carrying handles make installation easier. The housing is made of tough, opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic, and the terminals are sealed against leakage.
