The BP13-6S belongs to the BP general purpose VRLA battery series, which is offered in compact monobloc form with 4 V, 6 V and 12 V options and capacities from 1.0 Ah to 230 Ah. The case is made of rugged, opaque, impact-resistant ABS plastic, the cover is tightly joined to the case, and the terminal area is fully sealed to ensure structural integrity. Terminal design is customized according to battery series and type to meet different connection needs. Six holes in the cover are used to fill the electrolyte during production, after which a pressure relief valve made of non-combustible material is fitted to prevent internal pressure build-up and provide fire and explosion protection.
Both the positive and negative plates use a paste coating process for stable electrochemical performance. The design supports horizontal or vertical installation, which gives added convenience when space inside a cabinet or enclosure is limited. The flame arrestor integrated in each cell and the carrying handles for easier installation round out the practical design.
