The BP13-6H is a 6 V valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery from the B.B. Battery BP series, which covers 4 V, 6 V and 12 V monobloc designs with capacities from 1.0 Ah to 230 Ah. Its nominal capacity is 13 Ah at the 20 hour rate and 12.35 Ah at the 10 hour rate, and 11.05 Ah at the 5 hour rate. It weighs about 2.5 kg and uses the standard H terminal type. The battery is maintenance free (no topping up required), leak-proof (no free electrolyte) and keeps self-discharge low at less than 3% per month. A flame arrestor integrated in each cell and carrying handles for easier installation are fitted, and it supports vertical and horizontal installation.
