BP10-6 is a B.B. Battery BP series VRLA battery with a rated voltage of 6 V, a general-purpose range for standby duty. It provides a nominal capacity of 10 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 9.5 Ah at the 10-hour rate and 8.5 Ah at the 5-hour rate, and weighs 1.9 kg. The standard terminal type is T1, and optional terminal type T2 is available to suit the connection. The battery is maintenance free (no topping up required) and leak-proof (no free electrolyte). It offers low self-discharge, less than 3% per month, so stored batteries retain their charge, and it supports vertical and horizontal installation. Flame arrestor integrated in each cell, and a built-in flame arrestor for added safety, with carrying handles for easier installation.
