EP7-12 is a 12 V, 7 Ah maintenance-free lead-acid battery from the B.B. Battery EP portable power series. Absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination is combined with a no free acid (leak-proof battery) design that contains the electrolyte inside the case. The battery is maintenance free (no water addition required) and can be installed in multiple orientations (do not install inverted). Its nominal capacity is 5.95 Ah at the 5-hour rate and 3.5 Ah at the 30-minute rate, and it weighs 2.6 kg. The standard terminal type is T2, and T1 is offered as an optional terminal type. EP7-12 is designed for heavy-duty cyclic applications, and it carries an explosion-proof filter fitted together with a flame arrestor fitted for safety. EP7-12 is suitable for uninterruptible power supply, medical equipment, lawn mowers, electric bicycles and scooters, golf carts, communication facilities, data processing centers, electric vehicles, wheelchairs and floor cleaning equipment.
