EP33-12HandleTyp is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the B.B. Battery EP portable power series. Its nominal capacity is 33Ah at the 20 hour rate, 28.05Ah at the 5 hour rate and 16.5Ah at the 30 minute rate, the weight is 11.5kg, B7 is the standard terminal type and I2 is an optional terminal type. The battery is maintenance free (no water addition required) and has a no free acid (leak-proof battery) design, so the sealed case needs no topping up and holds its electrolyte during service. It is designed for heavy-duty cyclic applications and uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination. An explosion-proof filter fitted and a flame arrestor fitted for safety add protection in the event of an internal fault, and the battery can be installed in multiple orientations (do not install inverted). Typical applications include uninterruptible power supply, medical equipment, lawn mowers, electric bicycles and scooters, golf carts, communication facilities, data processing centers, electric vehicles, wheelchairs and floor cleaning equipment.
