The EP100-12 is a valve-regulated lead-acid battery from the B.B. Battery EP series, a range intended for heavy-duty cyclic duty, and it is rated at 12 V with a nominal capacity of 100 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 85 Ah at the 5-hour rate and 50 Ah at the 30-minute rate. It weighs 40 kg, with B4 as the standard terminal type and I2 available as an optional terminal type. Absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination keeps water loss low during charging. The product is maintenance free (no water addition required) and offers no free acid (leak-proof battery). It is designed for heavy-duty cyclic applications and can be installed in multiple orientations (do not install inverted), with an explosion-proof filter fitted and a flame arrestor fitted for safety.
