B.B. Battery EP40-12 is a 12 V lead-acid battery from the EP series, a portable power range. It has a nominal capacity of 40 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 34 Ah at the 5-hour rate and 20 Ah at the 30-minute rate, and weighs 14.6 kg. The standard terminal type is B2, and optional terminal types I1 and I2 are also available for different connection needs. The battery applies absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination and is maintenance free (no water addition required). It has no free acid (leak-proof battery), so handling stays clean and safe. Explosion-proof filter fitted and flame arrestor fitted for safety. Designed for heavy-duty cyclic applications, the battery can be installed in multiple orientations (do not install inverted).
