The battery uses an opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic case, and the lid is firmly connected to the case, with the terminal area sealed, ensuring overall structural strength and reliability. Both the positive and negative plates carry a paste coating, and together with absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology this achieves efficient gas recombination, so the battery is maintenance free throughout its life, with no water replenishment required and no free acid (leak-proof battery). The battery lid is designed with six holes that are used to fill the electrolyte during production, after which a pressure relief valve made of non-combustible material is installed, with flame arrestor fitted for safety, providing a high level of fire and explosion safety.
