BPL150-12 is a 12 V valve-regulated lead-acid battery from the B.B. Battery BPL series with a nominal capacity of 150 Ah at the 20-hour rate, and it is designed for long-duration standby power. It delivers 127.5 Ah at the 5-hour rate and 75 Ah at the 30-minute rate. Absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination keeps it maintenance free (no water addition required), and its no free acid (leak-proof battery) construction prevents leakage. The battery offers a low self-discharge rate, can be used in any orientation (inverted position not allowed), and comes with an explosion-proof filter fitted and a flame arrestor fitted for safety. The standard terminal type is B9, I3 is available as an optional terminal type, and the weight is 51.8 kg. Applications include uninterruptible power supply, security systems, emergency lighting and video surveillance systems, access control systems, medical equipment, communication facilities, alternative energy, power grids and the power industry, street lighting and traffic signals, and data processing centers.
