B.B. Battery MSU-400 is a 2 V valve-regulated lead-acid battery with a nominal capacity of 400 Ah at the 10-hour rate and a weight of 24.5 kg. The optional terminal types are I3 and B6. The battery features sealed construction, no electrolyte leakage, and its high-performance alloy ensures corrosion resistance. It uses a unique electrolyte system for maximum service life, while a low self-discharge rate, less than 3% capacity loss per month, helps it hold its charge well during storage and standby periods. A special paste formulation improves charge acceptance, and the battery uses gelled electrolyte technology. Absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination works inside the cells. The MSU-400 is suitable for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, security systems, emergency lighting and video surveillance systems, access control systems, medical equipment, lawn mowers, golf carts, telecommunications facilities, alternative energy, and power supply networks and the energy industry. As part of the MSU series, it is intended for telecom-grade standby power duty.
