The MSU-300 is a 2 V, 300 Ah valve-regulated lead-acid cell from the B.B. Battery MSU telecom-grade standby power series, rated at the 10-hour rate. It is built with sealed construction, no electrolyte leakage, so it stays safe inside cabinets, and a high-performance alloy ensures corrosion resistance for the plates. A unique electrolyte system for maximum service life supports long operation, and a special paste formulation improves charge acceptance so the cell takes charge efficiently. Gelled electrolyte technology and absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination work together inside the sealed case. Self-discharge is low, with less than 3% capacity loss per month, so the cell keeps its capacity through standby periods. The cell weighs 1.9 kg, uses a standard B6 terminal type and offers an optional I3 terminal type.
