MSU-2000 is a 2 V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery from the B.B. Battery MSU telecom-grade standby power series. Its nominal capacity is 2000 Ah at the 10-hour rate, and it weighs 117 kg. The standard terminal type is B6, and I3 is offered as an optional terminal type. The battery has a sealed construction, with no electrolyte leakage, while a high-performance alloy ensures corrosion resistance and a unique electrolyte system for maximum service life supports long-term standby duty. Low self-discharge rate, less than 3% capacity loss per month, and a special paste formulation that improves charge acceptance help the battery stay ready for service. Gelled electrolyte technology is used together with absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination.
