BC10-12 is a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) battery from the B.B. Battery BC deep cycle series with a nominal voltage of 12 V and a nominal capacity of 10 Ah at the 20-hour rate. It weighs 3 kg, uses T2 as its standard terminal type and offers T1 as an optional terminal type. Absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination supports the design, which is maintenance free (no water addition required) and contains no free acid, making it a leak-proof battery. It can be installed in any orientation (inverted position not allowed), and a flame arrestor fitted for safety together with an explosion-proof filter fitted raises protection. Carrying handles for easier installation simplify handling. Applications include uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, security systems, emergency lighting and video surveillance systems, access control systems, medical equipment, communication facilities, alternative energy systems, power supply networks and the energy industry, street lighting and traffic signals, and data processing centers.
