The Zelus-GB gel general purpose series GB12-70 is a 12 V valve-regulated gel battery with a nominal capacity of 70 Ah at the 20-hour rate and 65 Ah at the 10-hour rate. It weighs 24 kg and uses the I2 standard terminal type. Sulfuric acid mixed with fumed silica forms an immobilized gel, which brings enhanced durability and deep-cycle capability under heavy loads together with high-temperature stability, mechanical strength and low acid displacement, and excellent performance under deep discharge. A patented safety valve precisely controls pressure to extend battery life, and the precise distribution of valve opening and closing pressure is critical to battery (cycle) life, while a reinforcing rib design maintains structural integrity.
