GB12-41 is a gel general purpose lead-acid battery from the B.B. Battery Zelus-GB series, with a nominal voltage of 12 V, a nominal capacity of 41 Ah at the 20-hour rate and 38 Ah at the 10-hour rate, a weight of 16.1 kg and a standard terminal type of I2. Sulfuric acid mixed with fumed silica forms an immobilized gel, which gives the battery enhanced durability and deep-cycle capability under heavy loads, together with high-temperature stability, mechanical strength and low acid displacement, and excellent performance under deep discharge. A patented safety valve precisely controls pressure to extend battery life, and precise distribution of the valve opening and closing pressure is critical to battery (cycle) life.
