GB12-30 is a gelled deep-cycle valve-regulated lead-acid battery from the B.B. Battery Zelus GB series. Its nominal voltage is 12 V, its nominal capacity is 30 Ah at the 20-hour rate and 28.5 Ah at the 10-hour rate, its weight is 11.3 kg, its standard terminal type is B7, and its optional terminal type is I2. Sulfuric acid mixed with fumed silica forms an immobilized gel, which gives high-temperature stability, mechanical strength and low acid displacement, along with enhanced durability and deep-cycle capability under heavy loads, so the battery offers excellent performance under deep discharge.
