The EVP35-12StandardType belongs to the B.B. Battery EVP series and is a valve-regulated lead-acid battery with a nominal voltage of 12 V. Its capacity differs with the discharge rate: 35 Ah at the 20-hour rate, 29.75 Ah at the 5-hour rate and 21.9 Ah at the 30-minute rate, so the model can be matched to the backup time that the system actually requires, whether the load is continuous and light or brief and demanding. The battery weighs 12.5 kg and comes with the standard B7 terminal type. This model uses AGM technology in order to achieve efficient gas recombination during charging and is maintenance free, so no water addition is required; its no free acid design makes it a leak-proof battery that can be installed in multiple orientations, with the inverted position not allowed. The product is designed for high-power, high-cycle use, and it comes with an explosion-proof filter fitted and a flame arrestor fitted for safety. The sealed case and the low water loss together mean that the battery holds its capacity through demanding duty cycles.
