The FTB155-12gassing valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery from B.B. Battery is designed for these critical applications. It is supplied in a 12 V monobloc format with a nominal capacity between 155 and 159 Ah depending on the discharge rate: 155 Ah at the 8-hour rate, 159 Ah at the 10-hour rate and 102.1 Ah at the 1-hour rate. One of its core advantages is the front-end design, with all terminals on the front face. This layout makes installation in standard cabinets and racks convenient, optimizes the space arrangement of the bank and simplifies inspection, connection and maintenance work. The sturdy opaque shock-resistant ABS case, combined with the reinforcing rib design, keeps the structure intact during installation and use. The lid is firmly bonded to the case and the terminal area is sealed, which prevents electrolyte leakage and external contamination, and carrying handles make installation easier. The FTB155-12gassing uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology with paste-coated positive and negative plates for efficient gas recombination, which minimizes water loss and extends service life. Electrolyte is filled through six holes in the lid during production, after which a one-way self-sealing valve of non-combustible material is installed. This valve safely releases internal pressure and provides a high level of fire and explosion safety, and the built-in flame arrestor improves safety in use. The battery supports both horizontal and vertical placement. Its compact dimensions of 560 mm (about 22.05 inches) long, 125 mm (about 4.92 inches) wide and 290 mm (about 11.42 inches) high, with a weight of about 55.4 kg (about 122.1 pounds), allow efficient integration into space-constrained cabinets. It is designed for configuration into 48 VDC systems in standard 19-inch racks, suiting backup power for telecommunications base stations, broadband network nodes, railway signaling systems and central equipment rooms of data centers. The FTB series also covers oil and gas extraction sites, fire and security alarm systems, emergency lighting and surveillance systems, access control systems and medical equipment.
