Product details

The FTB100-12 (gassing) is a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the B.B. Battery FTB front terminal series, supplied as a 12V monobloc unit. Its nominal capacity is 100Ah at the 8-hour rate, 102Ah at the 10-hour rate and 66Ah at the 1-hour rate, so it can deliver strong short-time discharge support. The battery weighs 36.8kg and uses a standard I2 terminal type. The battery uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology for efficient gas recombination to recombine gases efficiently and reduce water loss. Both the positive and negative plates are coated with high-performance paste to keep the electrochemical reaction stable and efficient. The holes in the battery cover are used during production to fill the electrolyte, after which a one-way self-sealing safety valve made of non-flammable material is fitted. This pressure relief valve design ensures a high level of fire and explosion safety, and a flame arrestor fitted for safety further extends the overall service life of the battery. The battery case is made of tough, opaque, impact-resistant ABS plastic for reliable physical protection. The battery cover is firmly joined to the case, and the terminal area is specially sealed to prevent electrolyte leakage or the entry of external contaminants. The terminals are located at the front of the battery, and this front-terminal design greatly simplifies battery bank layout and later maintenance work, so the battery integrates easily into standard 19-inch racks and is especially suited to compact 48 VDC system power configurations. The structure includes a carrying handle and reinforcing ribs, which make handling and installation easier and keep the overall structure sound.
