The EB80-12 uses a 12 V monobloc design and belongs to the EB series of valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries. Both its positive and negative plates carry a specially formulated lead paste, and absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology achieves efficient recombination of the internal oxygen, which makes the battery maintenance free so that users need not add electrolyte at regular intervals. The battery holds no free acid inside and is completely leak-proof, and it can be installed horizontally or vertically, with an inverted position not allowed. The case is made of impact-resistant ABS plastic, the cover is tightly joined to the case, and the terminal area receives special sealing treatment that effectively prevents electrolyte leakage. Six filling holes reserved in the cover are used to add electrolyte during production, after which a pressure relief valve made of flame-retardant material is installed together with an explosion-proof filter and a flame arrestor, raising fire and explosion safety. The battery is optimized for high power output and frequent cycling duty, and it can supply stable and reliable electrical energy on a continuous basis.
